Altamonte Weightlifting
Altamonte Weightlifting is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of discipline, health, and athletic abilities through the use of weight training. To accomplish this, the program introduces the sport of Olympic-Style Weightlifting and also instructs its participants in the multitude of weight training exercises. All training is supervised by certified coaches and is done while emphasizing the importance of proper technique, safety, and hard work. The program is available to ages eleven and up.
Registration for the next session will begin on Monday, April 19 at 6:30pm, thirty minutes prior to practice at the Lake Brantley High School Athletic Complex-Fieldhouse weight room. All practices are Monday through Thursday from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The cost is $70 for the six-week session.
