Flag Football
Fall Youth Flag Football League
Participate in one of the largest Flag Football leagues in Central Florida, open to both city residents and non city residents at Eastmonte Recreation Center. Practices will be held at Eastmonte Recreation Center, Westmonte Recreation Center or the fields behind Forest City Elementary depending on the coach. Players between the ages of six and fourteen are invited to participate. The program is structured in a fun, recreational environment and introduces individuals to basic football skills and knowledge. We promote the “Equal Play Rule” which ensures that all participants play the same amount of time. Players are selected through a player placement workout which creates parity throughout the league. The non-refundable fee per participant is $90.00 (uniform shirt and shorts included).
Registration
On-line registration will begin Monday, July 26. To register please CLICK HERE! Please follow the provided instructions to sign in and register. You must obtain a username and password prior to registering. This can be done by submitting your info through our on-line registration page Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. We will also allow individuals to register in person at Westmonte Recreation Center on Wednesday, August 18 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
Divisions & Player Placement Dates
All registered participants will attend a player placement workout for their designated age divisions at Eastmonte Recreation Center on the following dates:
6-8 Age Division - August 23 at 6:00pm
9-11 Age Division - August 24 at 6:00pm
12-14 Age Division - August 25 at 6:00pm
Age cut off date is December 31, 2010
*If a player placement workout is rained out it will be made up on Saturday, August 28.
