Merrill Recreation Center hosts softball and volleyball programming accompanied by multiple pavilions available throughout the facility and an extensive playground provides ample play for children of all ages and sizes.
The center is also recognized as the "Official USA Softball National Team Training Center - East Coast" by the National Governing Body of USA Softball, the Amateur Softball Association.
The three (3)-championship softball diamonds with state of the art field lighting and electronic scoreboards serve both as the home of the Altamonte Girls Fast Pitch Softball Association youth softball program and our Adult Softball League play.
Three (3)-lighted outdoor sand volleyball courts are used for both recreational play and our adult beach volleyball league conducted by A+ Volleyball. Courts are available to the public at an hourly rate of $7.50 plus tax per court per hour. A multi-use facility contract must be completed along with payment in order to reserve the courts. Our three (3)-pavilions are available to rent for birthday parties, baby showers, picnics, etc. Each of our pavilions is equipped with tables and grills and can seat up to fifty (50)-people. A multi-use facility contract must be completed along with payment in order to reserve the pavilion. - 4 hours - $25 + tax
- 8 hours - $50 + tax
